Typical Evolutionist Professor
Snobby Evolutionists are probably one of the most irritating group of people I’ve ever had the misfortune to encounter. I’m a Ride-Or-Die-Creationist and I’m majoring/studying heavily in the sciences. I also study at a mostly pro-evolution university, so I encounter these types of people everyday. One of the most irritating things about Snobby Evolutionists is that they can’t even admit to themselves of the faultiness and fragility of their own theories. (1)
Since, I’m a student of science, the numerous and excessive holes you’ll find in the Evolution Theory is so evident that you wonder why science professors are still teaching it. And this is probably why, evolutionists (and to another extent atheists) don’t really engage in debates with religious people such as myself.
They generally argue with people like Palin or some random pastor to make all of us religious folks look like idiots. Even to the point where I (and I’m one of those religious folks that know the evidence) will wince when applying the label of Creationist to myself. Because remember this – if you can embarrass and ridicule the messenger the message gets lost. (2) And this tactic works for the most part. If a piranha (evolutionist) fights against a golden fish (some random uneducated-in-science pastor) – the following aftermath is nauseating but unsurprising.

The Aftermath
I have tried to fight against this oddity but here’s a funny thing – not one evolutionist has ever agreed to engage in a public debate with me. And I find this amusing if not pitiable. Then again, engaging someone like me in an scientific debate on the very feasibility of evolution is a very deadly task. Sort of like a piranha deciding its bold enough to fight against a great white shark. Sure their both predators (have valid points/facts) but really?
Really?

The Aftermath
To be truthful, it’s actually quite hard to really defend evolution logically - with just facts and hard evidence and this is one of the many reasons that many evolutionary theories (the Big Bang, for example) are dieing slow, painful deaths right now in many scientific circles. (3)
Of course, I’m mostly of the opinion that people are entitled to believe whatever they want to believe. Nonetheless, I would prefer that if evolution was to be taught then so should creationism. They should at least be equally studied and talked about. Let the people have a choice!
But is this going to happen anytime soon? Probably not.
1 – Because if they did – Evolution would die today.
2 – LCS – Suffering from Lot’s Children Syndrome
3 – You won’t know it because of the lack of media attention and support, but the science world is really getting hot on some issues.
